4th Meeting, 18th Session Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP).


The Expert Mechanism provides the Human Rights Council with expertise and advice on the rights of Indigenous Peoples. It assists Member States in achieving the goals of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

15h00 – 16h30: Item 5: United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, including report on the rights of Indigenous Peoples to their traditional economies

16h30 – 18h00: Item 4: Coordination meeting between EMRIP, UNPFII, the Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and the UN Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples (closed meeting)
